Board Appointment
SQS Software Quality Systems AG (‘SQS’ AIM: SQS), the global leader in independent software testing and quality management services, is pleased to announce that David Cotterell has been appointed to the SQS Management Board effective from 1 July 2008.
Mr Cotterell, 55, currently heads SQS’s United Kingdom, Ireland and South African entities (SQS-UKISA). He has spent nearly 2 years with SQS, having been Managing Director of Cresta Ltd. when it was acquired by SQS in May 2006. He has over 20 years experience in the IT software and services sector with responsibility for sales, marketing, services, support and business development. He has held senior management roles with firms including ACT Financial Systems, DSTi, Customer Analytics and Advent.
Rudolf van Megen, Chief Executive Officer, commented:
“The Cresta acquisition was a transforming deal for SQS in 2006 giving us equal exposure to the UK and Europe. David’s input has been invaluable over the last two years and it is a natural step to appoint him to the Board.”
